01The 60-minute swallow

LEVITRA is taken orally, as needed, approximately 60 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. Sexual stimulation is required.

The recommended starting dose of LEVITRA is 10 mg. LEVITRA is available as 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg film-coated tablets.

The dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg based on efficacy and side effects. LEVITRA is not indicated for use in women.

02Food and the tablet

LEVITRA may be taken with or without food. A high-fat meal may delay the time to peak concentration.

Vardenafil is contraindicated in patients using any form of organic nitrate, either regularly or intermittently. Do not combine LEVITRA with other PDE5 inhibitors.

LEVITRA is contraindicated with Class IA (e.g. quinidine, procainamide) or Class III (e.g. amiodarone, sotalol) antiarrhythmics. Rhinitis occurred in 9% versus 3%. Dyspepsia occurred in 4% versus 1%. Sinusitis occurred in 3% versus 1%. Flu syndrome occurred in 3% versus 2%. Dizziness occurred in 2% versus 1%. Nausea occurred in 2% versus 1%. LEVITRA was administered to over 4430 men during controlled and uncontrolled clinical trials worldwide. In placebo-controlled clinical trials, the discontinuation rate due to adverse events was 3.4% for LEVITRA compared to 1.1% for placebo. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. This note features 2.5 mg. LEVITRA is taken orally, as needed, approximately 60 minutes before sexual activity.
